LM5032EVAL/NOPB is an evaluation board that is designed to evaluate the LM5030 buck-boost current mode controller. The LM5030 is ideal for applications such as point of load converters, battery powered systems, and SEPIC converter architectures. The evaluation board also allows for adjustments of the switching frequency as well as other components such as input and output capacitors, and MOSFETs.

This evaluation board provides the user with an easy and efficient way to evaluate the performance of the LM5030 in a buck-boost topology. The board can be used to power loads from both DC and AC supplies operating up to 40V with an output voltage ranging from 6V to 40V. The maximum output current is 5A while the maximum output power is 80W.

The board features a wide array of components, which include the LM5030 controller, low side and high side MOSFETs, input and output capacitors, feedback Network, compensation network, and current sense circuit. All of these components are connected together in order to create the desired buck-boost topology.
