The LM5117QPMHX/NOPB is a dc/dc switching regulator controller capable of delivering high power with fast transient response and superior thermal performance. It is specifically designed to support single-inductor buck-boost topologies and is ideal for point-of-load and distributed power supply architectures. This integrated circuit (IC) is a low power controller that offers an efficient, cost-effective solution for voltage and current regulator applications. The LM5117QPMHX/NOPB is a robust solution for automotive, industrial, medical, datacenter and other high-current applications (up to 6A). It features fast transient response, low quiescent current, wide regulation range, excellent thermal and surge performance, adjustable current limiting, and separate probe outputs.

The LM5117QPMHX/NOPB is built with a versatile architecture, allowing the user to support one to four output voltage rails in single or multiple configurations. The low switching frequency also allows integration of a synchronous rectifier solution for enhanced efficiency.
