The LMK04808BISQE/NOPB is a high-performance jitter cleaner and clock synthesizer designed to system clock generation and jitter attenuation applications. It is clock/timing device that is optimized for low jitter performance in broadcast, production, and post-production applications. This jitter cleaner/clock synthesizers is an integrated, low-jitter Clock Multiplier Unit (CMU) and clock fan-out buffer.

The device is a very small 32-pin, 4 mm × 4 mm QFN package has two features potential users should consider. It spins of single-ended crystal oscillators and can clean up the signal with the jitter attenuation. There are use-cases in which the LMK04808BISQE is useful for generating clean, low-jitter clocks for a large number of devices.

The device has an integrated Volterra™-based clock multiplier unit (CMU) that multiplies the incoming signal into an array of high-quality clocks. This CMU provides a low-jitter, sinusoidal output clock from an input frequency of up to 200 MHz. It also includes three fan-out buffers to distribute the clocks to multiple destination devices.
