The LNK6407K is a highly efficient, low power consumption integrated pipeline AC/DC and DC/DC converter controller with a wide variety of applications. It is able to work with loads up to 1A on output and up to 138VAC on primary input range. Its dynamic force current mode, oscillator frequency can be externally adjusted, up to 0.4A peak current for Punch-Through, PFC and isolated DC/DC converters, and up to 1A peak current for flyback, open-frame flyback, Push-Pull, LLC converters.

The working principle of the LNK6407K is based on the power stage design techniques of AC/DC rectifier and DC/DC converter. In both cases, the integrated controller’s integrated circuits are responsible for the energy flow between two energy domains, AC and DC, through a network of power devices controlling the power switches MOSFETs. The LNK6407K can be used as the primary control element of a non-isolated and isolated DC/DC converter.
