Introduction

The LNK6665V is a highly efficient, step-down switching regulator. It is specified for an input voltage of 4.5V to 40V and provides an output voltage of 0.8V to 17V. The LNK6665V is the most efficient member of the powerTOPSwitch-II family of switching regulators. The device is housed in a thermally enhanced SOT-223 package and is pin compatible with industry standard LNK663x devices. It includes a PowerTOPSwitch-II high performance current-mode PWM controller, high voltage MOSFET and requires a minimum number of external components for operation.
