LNK6668E is an advanced two-stage, high-efficiency, Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) designed for offline, low power applications such as network routers and other consumer electronics. It provides integrated AC/DC conversion, synchronous rectification, and resonance power delivery. The integrated voltage regulation and power measurement are ideal for low power, low cost, reliable applications.

The LNK6668E application and working principle can be divided into two main aspects - AC/DC Conversion and Offline Switches.

AC/DC Conversion

The AC/DC conversion part of the LNK6668E features a powerful FET drive, an integrated high-frequency switching regulator, and an optimized boost converter resulting in high efficiency, less losses, and a lower bill of materials. The power system provides a wide input range with an automatically optimized, folded output voltage.
