.LT8642SIV#PBF is a sophisticated integrated DC/DC Switching Regulator, which is widely used in both consumer electronics and infrastructure applications. Utilizing its efficient switching regulator architecture, the LT8642SIV allows you to convert low input voltage sources, such as battery power, into higher voltages with high efficiency. Moreover, the LT8642SIV is also capable of regulating current and provides exceptional transient response and high power output.
The LT8642SIV is composed of a boost converter, a synchronous rectifier, a controller, and other related circuitries. It also integrates a low dropout voltage regulator, so that the regulator can provide more stable output voltage, even when the input voltage is low. In addition to that, the LT8642SIV also features internal clock oscillator, and integrated soft-start mechanism.
The main power components of the LT8642SIV includes two MOSFETs, one N-Channel and one P-Channel MOSFET switch, which works together to drive the output voltage. The MOSFETs are controlled by the synchronous rectifier and the controller, in order to ensure the optimal operating efficiency and low EMI. Besides, the low dropout regulator enables the LT8642SIV to maintain an accurate output voltage even when the input voltage is lower than the normal.
