In fast-charging mode, the charge current can be set from 500mA to 2000mA, and in slow-charging mode, the charge current can be set from 50mA to 1000mA. The charge current can be adjusted with the external resistor. The device also provides output overvoltage protection.
Working Principle
The LTC4069EDC#TRMPBF contains an input voltage loop with an overvoltage protection circuit, a voltage regulator, and a charge current-setting circuit. The input voltage is monitored by the overvoltage protection circuit to make sure that it is within the specified operating voltage.
