The MAX1146BCUP+ is a monolithic, correlated double sampling (CDS) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) designed for data acquisition applications. It is a very high performance, 12-bit resolution device, that operates from a single 5V supply and draws less than 10 mW of power. Its compact 24-pin package includes sample and hold circuits, making it suitable for data acquisition systems in consumer, industrial and automotive applications.
The MAX1146BCUP+ incorporates a unique double-track track-and-hold circuit, allowing it to sample and hold multiple analog signals simultaneously. The ADC can be configured to sample and hold conflicting signals, such as those with a high common mode voltage, requiring a single-ended conversion. Also, the device has an onboard reference circuit, which supplies an output reference voltage of 2.5V that can be used for either full- or half-scale conversions.
The MAX1146BCUP+ features differential non-linearity (DNL) of ±1LSB or better and integral non-linearity (INL) of ±1.5LSB (maximum).
