The MAX11609EEE+ is a high-accuracy, low-power, 14-bit successive approximation register (SAR) analog to digital converter (ADC). It digitizes signals up to ±4V with a resolution of 14 bits, with an effective resolution of 16 bits. The MAX11609EEE+ operates from a single 2.7V to 3.3V supply voltage and consumes only 4 mW of power in its active mode. It is designed to simplify the design of portable, low-power applications such as data acquisition, medical instrumentation, and battery-powered equipment. Additionally, the device is specified to operate over the extended, industrial (–40°C to +85°C) temperature range.
