The MAX1268ACEG+ is a monolithic, low power, low noise, 18-bit successive approximation analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with programmable gain feature. It was designed specifically to provide a very accurate and low power solution for data acquisition systems. It features a full 18-bit resolution with a single 5V power supply, low power consumption and low noise performance. The MAX1268ACEG+ is capable of converting analog inputs with high accuracy, and a wide dynamic range of 0V to 4.096V.

The on-chip programsmable gain amplifier feature gives the device flexibility, enabling it to accept both low and high level signals with 0 dB to 32 dB programmable gain. The integrated track/hold feature makes the MAX1268ACEG+ ideal for capturing and converting high speed signals. Its programmable sample rate is capable of up to 6MSPS.
