The MAX127ACNG is a comprehensive, full-featured CMOS analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with an on-chip, single-programmable reference. This extremely low power, 12-bit ADC is optimized for a wide range of applications, including battery powered systems, automotive systems, digital audio, and industrial sensors. It has a 200ksps conversion rate and an outstanding dynamic performance, including an input noise of 6/√Hz and a wide frequency response of up to 10MHz. The MAX127ACNG also features low operating current and shutdown current, as well as on-chip a single-programmable reference, which allows for a wide input voltage range up to 6V. Additionally, it has a selectable auto-calibration mode, making it suitable for high accuracy measurement.

Working Principle

The MAX127ACNG employs an analog-to-digital conversion process that utilizes a combination of successive approximation and delta-sigma techniques.
