The MAX128BCAI is a versatile 10-bit, high-speed analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with a wide range of features, including differential inputs, 12-bit resolution and synchronization control. The device is designed for use in demanding applications in process control, test and measurement, industrial control, automotive and communication equipment.
The ADC is divided into two main sections - the Analog Front End (AFE) and Digital Signal Processor (DSP). The AFE contains an analog amplifier and an analog-to-digital converter, providing the input signal with amplification. The DSP contains the digital signal processor and memory, responsible for the control and the output data processing.
