The MAX1407CAI+ is a high-precision special purpose analog-to-digital converter (ADC) designed for data acquisition applications. Designed for ease of use, the MAX1407CAI+ has a quick start-up time and low power consumption with excellent linearity, making it ideal for a broad range of industrial, medical, and consumer applications.

The MAX1407CAI+ has an input range of 0 to 10 V, 16-bit resolution, and a maximum sampling rate of 1 MHz. It is able to convert both single-ended and differential inputs into digital signals which is suitable for a wide variety of analog input types. Additionally, the MAX1407CAI+ can process both positive and negative input voltages and is capable of rejecting signals up to 40 mV outside of its specified input range.

The MAX1407CAI+ has a unique feature that allows it to be used as both an ADC and a digital-to-analog converter (DAC). The chip contains two fully-differential voltage-output DACs, allowing for simultaneous updates of two analog signals.
