It is a complete, integrated data acquisition system and contains several features such as an 8-bit Analog to Digital converter, flash programmable voltage reference, power-on reset, user-selectable input ranges, analog-to-digital multiplexer and an integrated temperature sensor.The MAX145ACPA+ offers the user several advantages over other analog-to-digital solutions. It is powered by a single +3.3V supply, which makes it a suitable choice for use in very low-power applications. Additionally, it has several features that make it especially suitable for use in portable and battery-powered applications, as well as for applications that require a minimum of external components.The MAX145ACPA+ also features an advanced flash programmable voltage reference, which provides uncompromised accuracy due to its low offset and drift characteristics. Additionally, it can sample and convert data without any external adjustments, since it has an integrated programmable gain amplifier (PGA). The integrated reference allows the user to achieve the desired signal range with little effort.The MAX145ACPA+ also has an on-chip temperature sensor that can be used for temperature measurement and compensation.
