The MAX15048ETJ+ is a state-of-the-art power supply controller, monitor, and manager IC (PMIC) designed for automotive and industrial applications. This device is designed to minimize system-level power sequencing complexity, simplify board routing and layout, and improve system reliability. It provides comprehensive and accurate control and monitoring solutions for 12 to 48V input, high-side current-sense (up to 30A) buck or boost converters. The device also provides an internal adjustable reference (50 to 200mV) for accurate monitoring of voltage or current in buck or boost configurations.

The MAX15048ETJ+ has an adjustable, fixed output and tracking converter, as well as an adjustable, flexible output, and tracking converter. This device is also able to provide two additional external references, one configurable as a differential reference and one as an adjustable reference to a max of 7V. An internal error amplifier with rail-to-rail outputs is able to reduce the number of external components. In addition, this IC offers cold start capability with adjustable reference delay, reducing the soft start time of the system.
