On-chip switches allow rail combinations to make the MAX16042TP+T compatible with a variety of rail combinations.
The MAX16042TP+T includes an advanced over-temperature protection (OTP) feature to monitor and protect multiple system components, including the board and the power supplies. The over-voltage protection feature shuts off a channel if an overvoltage condition is detected, while the current-limiting feature prevents a channel from exceeding a set current limit, making it highly reliable in the field.
The MAX16042TP+T operates on a wide range of input voltages, including 3.3V, 5V, 12V and 24V. It features low power dissipation and up to 95% efficiency.
