Working Principle
The MAX1775EEE+ combines switching and linear regulation in a single package, which results in high efficiency and low quiescent current. It has a built-in voltage regulator of 0.6V to 5.5V adjustable output and 700kHz programmable switching frequency. It functions by organizing an external N-channel MOSFET from a high-side driver and features an internal linear PNP and N-channel MOSFETs for improved efficiency at light loads.
