The MAX196AENI+ is a special purpose analog-to-digital converter (ADC) designed for extremely wide dynamic range applications. It features low power dissipation, low noise, high resolution and high performance. The ADC is designed to meet the challenging requirements of industrial, commercial, and medical applications. It provides fast ADC performance with low latency, high dynamic range, and low power consumption.

The MAX196AENI+ features a 12-bit, 1.25Gsps successive approximation register-based sampling system. It also features programmable input offset/gain registers, flexible low-pass and anti-alias filters, and programmable digital filter parameters. The device operates from an integrated clock oscillator operating between 5MHz and 50MHz.
