The MAX196BCAI is an 8-bit, 16 nV/°C, low power CMOS sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter (ADC). It is a complete single-chip monitoring circuit solution for a wide range of industrial applications from 0 to +70°C. The dual-slot architecture of the MAX196BCAI allows simultaneous data acquisition and control on a single board, making it an ideal solution for distributed monitoring and control of temperature, pressure, and other system parameters.
The MAX196BCAI features ultra-low power consumption, with typical power dissipation levels of less than 1.2 mW while operating at 16 sampling rate.
