1. Describe

The MAX3232CDE4 device contains two line drivers, two line receivers, and a dual charge pump circuit with ±15kV ESD protection pin-to-pin. This device complies with TIA/EIA-232-Requirement F and provides an electrical interface between an asynchronous communication controller and a serial port connector. A charge pump and four small external capacitors allow operation from a single 3-V to 5.5V supply. These devices operate at data signaling rates up to 250 kbit/s and a maximum of 30-V/μs Driver output slew rate.

    8. Accepts 5V logic input and 3.3V power supply
