In transmit mode, the device typically transmits data at about 8-12 V (or higher), and in receive mode, the device requires about 4-5 V (or higher). The device can also be used in other applications, such as telecommunications or network switching, where high-speed and low-power data transfer is required.The MAX3232EEWE+ features an on-chip charge pump, providing charge to the device in order to enable the transceiver to operate at high speeds.
