Application Field

The MAX3269CUB+ is an ultra low power, low voltage rail-to-rail input/output interface amplifier that delivers rail-to-rail performance in a tiny SOT23 package. It is suitable for a variety of applications, such as power supply sequencing, power management, general signal amplification, load switching, level shifting and level sensing. By dynamically adjusting the supply voltage, it is able to maintain an output voltage that is independent of the input voltage and the supply voltage. The device is offered in an SOT23-5, 2.5mm x 3mm surface mount package.

Working Principle

The MAX3269CUB+ is powered by a low voltage supply of up to 3.6V and is capable of driving a full rail-to-rail swing (typically +2V to -2V) from a single supply. The device supports both positive and negative rail-to-rail I/O. The output is dynamically adjusted according to the input and is independent of the supply voltage. The output can be programmed by a single external capacitor and resistor, allowing for a variety of power management and sequencing functions to be implemented.

The MAX3269CUB+ provides a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The device has ESD ratings of 2kV human body model (HBM) and 1kV charged device model (CDM), ensuring robust operation in harsh environments.

The MAX3269CUB+ is designed to achieve consumption current levels as low as 28µA and a low quiescent current of only 0.6µA, allowing for longer battery life in portable devices and increased efficiency in various applications. The device also features protection against short-circuits and reverse supply voltage, and is compliant to WPC and CEC of wireless charging standards.
