If the logic low at the enable, the receiver stops receiving data and the outputs will be driven to their default logic levels.
The MAX3313CUB+ transceiver allows data to be transmitted while controlling the current in the signals, protecting against shorts and excessive voltage spikes. It operates with a 0V to 5V output level and provides current-limited protection in the event of an overvoltage condition. When transmitting data, the device automatically limits the current to 6mA, preventing bus contention and protecting against voltage spikes. When not transmitting data, the device disables the driver, reducing power consumption and improving electromagnetic compatibility.
