The MAX3314CSA+ is a 3.3V/5V, high-speed CMOS differential line receiver designed for bidirectional data communication. This device has been developed to promote a cost-effective solution by providing an improved receiver that can handle both big-endian and little-endian transmission schemes.

The MAX3314CSA+ is the industry’s first low-cost, standard-level receiver with a wide impedance-managed driver and receiver. The device supports transmitters up to 65MHz and is integrated with a selectable receiver data rate and as well as a slew-rate control for noisy environments, offering improved signal integrity and smoother data transmissions.

Application Field

The MAX3314CSA+ is mainly used in communication applications, such as Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel, Fibre Optic, Serial ATA, Serial Attached SCSI, USB2.0, PCI Express, USB3.0 and other high-speed serial data transceivers. It also enables applications such as frequency and clock signal transmission, oscilloscope signal transmission, wirelessly and RF (Radio Frequency) signal transmission.

Working Principle
