The MAX333ACPP+ is a low-cost TTL-compatible analog switch that operates over a single +5 V supply. It provides a low t-ON time and low t-OFF time guaranteed over the range of 0.45 V to 4.5 V logic levels. The MAX333ACPP+ features a low on-resistance of 130 ohms and a low off-leakage current of 1 pA. The on-resistance is guaranteed from 0°C to 70°C, making the MAX333ACPP+ an ideal choice for a wide range of switching and multiplexing applications, as well as for switch-mate devices.

It is capable of switching a wide range of input signals, including audio, radio frequency and video. Applications include sample and hold circuits, multiplexing and demultiplexing. The MAX333ACPP+ is also suitable for use in data bus switching, where one terminal connects to a data input and the other terminal connects to the data output.

The MAX333ACPP+ features on-resistance matching of 0.5Ω, making it ideal for video or mixed-signal applications. The device can operate with a supply voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V and its supply current is 5 mA. Its maximum output current is 8 mA, and its output load can range from 10 ohms to 25 kiloohms. The device is available in 20-pin SSOP and 24-pin TSSOP packages. Its operating temperature range is from -40°C to 85°C.

The MAX333ACPP+ provides two analog switches for switched capacitor applications such as sample and hold circuits, audio switching and multiplexing. Its two outputs can be used to control its two inputs either in series or in parallel. The device has a low off-leakage current of 1 pA and a low on-resistance of 130 ohms. It can be used to multiplex or demultiplex signals with low-noise and low-distortion.

Its working principle is based on the concept of a differential amplifier. It has two PMOS (positive-channel metal-oxide-semiconductor) transistors – one common-source transistor with its source connected to ground and the other common-drain transistor connected to the opposite end of the ground connection. When the switch is “on”, the common source transistor is rendered “on”, allowing current to flow from the drain of the transistor to the source, thus allowing charge flow from one end to the other.

This is known as an analog switch and is used for connecting two different signals for carrying out functions such as multiplexing, demultiplexing, switching, and amplifying. This type of switch is widely used for applications in automotive and consumer electronics, medical equipment, communication systems, audio and video switching and many other applications.

The MAX333ACPP+ is an ideal choice for high-speed analog switch applications with low power consumption. It provides a low t-ON time and low t-OFF time guaranteed over a wide range of input logic levels and its on-resistance matching is 0.5Ω, which greatly reduces distortion in the signal path. Its low off-leakage current of 1 pA also enables reliable use in applications such as sample and hold circuits, as well as multiplexing and demultiplexing.
