The MAX3452EEUD+ incorporates a Programmable Interval Generator (PIG), allowing the device to be operated in either a single-byte or multi-byte mode.

In addition to the MSTX, SLRX, and BTX modes, the MAX3452EEUD+ also supports the slave-transmitter (SLTX) mode, which allows data to be transferred from the local logic to the I2C bus device. In this mode, the device acts as an I2C slave, responding to both address and data requests from the master device. The MAX3452EEUD+ also supports the slave-transmit with acknowledge (SLTA) mode which allows the I2C device to acknowledge the data request from the master prior to data transmission.

The MAX3452EEUD+ is designed for low power consumption, making it suitable for battery-powered applications. It is capable of operating from a supply voltage range of 3V to 5V. The device also features an active-high reset input, which resets the logic and disables the Receiver and Transmitter data pins.
