The MAX349EAP+T is an analog multiplexer/demultiplexer that features 8:1 multiplexing on the A side and 1:8 demultiplexing on the B side, enabling two completely independent 8-channel signals to be switched with low on-capacitance. Each multiplexer channel includes integrated ESD protection up to +7 kV and can switch ground as well as signal voltages. With its excellent on-resistance matching, low on-resistance flatness, and superior safe-operate area (SOA) characteristics, the MAX349EAP+T is an ideal device for mixing and switching multiple analog signals with fast and accurate control.

The main application fields for the MAX349EAP+T are in test and measurement instruments such as digital oscilloscopes and multi-channel data acquisition systems. With its low on-resistance and excellent matching characteristics, it can provide high-speed and accurate control of digital signals in a wide variety of devices. The low on-capacitance also allows it to be used in high-frequency switching applications such as CATV amplifiers, cable modems, and base station transceivers. Additionally, the MAX349EAP+T is well suited for analog signal mixing and noise cancellation applications in which multiple signals need to be switched at high speed.
