The MAX3542EVKIT+ Evaluation Kit, is part of Maxim Integrated\'s suite of RF Evaluation and Development Kits, Boards and Modules. This kit provides reference designs, reference driver, and source code for users who need to evaluate or develop dual-band antenna systems in the ISM (Industrial Scientific Medical) bands of 433MHz and 868MHz. Using an integrated, wideband active antenna, the MAX3542EVKIT+ allows users to develop applications for 2-way wireless data communication in either of these bands.
The MAX3542EVKIT+ consists of a MAX3542EVKIT+ Evaluation Board connected to an active antenna. The board also includes an on board voltage regulator, a set of general-purpose user interface ports, and a user controlled power switch. Additionally, the board includes UART and SPI interfaces enabling data communication between the board and the active antenna, as well as a pseudo-analog interface for externally powered applications. The MAX3542EVKIT+ is also designed with a differential antenna output which makes it suitable for use in a variety of applications.
