The MAX3636EVKIT+ is one such Evaluation Kit that offers powerful features and an optimal platform to demonstrate the capabilities of the MAX3636 analogue switch IC.

The MAX3636EVKIT+ comprises of a development board and a control board. The development board holds an integrated circuit or integrated circuit package and the controlling board controls the communication interface of the integrated circuit. Connector cables are provided to connect the control board to the development board. The MAX3636EVKIT+ also includes a user manual, signal cables, and a power adapter with a USB cable.

The MAX3636EVKIT+ is specifically designed to demonstrate the efficiency of the MAX3636 analogue switch. It is a Multiplexor/Demultiplexor intended for use in analogue and digital high-speed communication systems. It provides two resources of low-on-resistance switching for applications such as video, image, cellular, and telecom switching. The MAX3636EVKIT+ is powered by a 12 VDC external power supply and is designed to operate with 3.3V and 0.7V operating voltage. Furthermore, the kit supports up to 6Gbps switching speed with low latency, and provides multiple signal routing, optional loopback mode, and short bidirectional ports.

The MAX3636EVKIT+ features two independent sections with separate control and switching inputs. One of the sections operates at up to 6 Gbps, while the other operates at up to 2.5 Gbps. The switching input on the first section supports up to 8 individual switch outputs, while the switching inputs on the second section support up to 4 individual switch output combinations.
