The MAX3981UTH+ is also perfect for bridging distances up to 10 meters in multimode fibers and up to 80 kilometers in single mode fibers.

The device can be programmed to support up to 10 Gbits/second data rate over multimode or 50+ Gbits/second over single mode fibers.
