The MAX3987ETM+ is a multi-channel low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) repeater that provides a reliable path for transmitting data in high-speed board-to-board, bus, backplane, and data transmission applications. AWorking Principle of MAX3987ETM+
The MAX3987ETM+ operates on the LVDS standard, which enables it to carry data over distances in excess of centimetres at speeds of up to 8.5Gbps per channel. The device translates TTL/CMOS input signals into low-voltage, low-power, differential outputs and ensures compatibility with the LVDS standard. It supports up to 12 channels of data, each running at up to 8.5Gbps with low jitter.
