MAX5988BETP+ is a Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) Controllers. It provides an efficient power delivery solution for both fast Ethernet ( IEEE 802.3bt Type 3) and Gigabit Ethernet (IEEE 802.3bt Type 4) systems. The power delivery system consists of two parts: a PoE controller (MAX5988BETP+ ) and a Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE). The PoE controller manages the incoming power of the PSE and provides a constant supply of power to connected devices.
The power delivery of the MAX5988BETP+ is highly efficient and consumes lower power than other PoE controllers. The MAX5988BETP+ utilizes an intelligent power tracking system that dynamically adjusts the voltage supplied to the connected devices based on the load current requirements.
