This combination helps to provide much better accuracy, stability and linearity when compared to traditional voltage sources.The MAX6023EBT50+T voltage reference comes in a 6-pin, SOT-23 package with integrated thermal compensation and reverse-current protection. The various functions of the IC are provided by its two parts; the voltage reference and adjustable low drop-out linear regulator.The voltage reference consists of an amplifier circuit and a zener diode. This amplifier\'s input is connected to the reference voltage and its feedback is connected to the zener diode.
