Working Principle

The MAX8212CPA features an analog comparator and two digital-controlled reset outputs. The comparator uses a precision reference voltage to monitor the voltage from the power supply. If the voltage exceeds the maximum safe voltage or falls below the minimum voltage, then the comparator triggers the reset outputs, thereby securely resetting the system.
