At the switch’s input, an internal P-channel power MOSFET and an N-channel synchronous rectifier are connected in parallel. The controller then alternately opens and closes the two switches in order to regulate the output voltage. When the output current is below the Current-Mode limit of the controller, the output voltage regulation is ensured by a combination of current-mode and voltage-mode control techniques.The MP4423GQ-Z also boasts a wide operating temperature range, from -40° to +85° Celsius, making it suitable for use in a variety of applications and environments.
