This device can output a wide range of voltages from a single, low cost, internal regulator integrated circuit. It features a high frequency, fixed frequency architecture and integrates an internal control logic to control the operation of the internal regulator.The NCP3064DR2G is designed to operate on input voltages between 2.97V and 15V. There are two integrated output voltage options, 1.2V and 1.8V. It also features an adjustable output voltage option with a range of 0.9V to 1.8V. The device has an output current capability up to 5.5A. The switching frequency can be adjusted between 200kHz to 600kHz through an external resistor and cap.The NCP3064DR2G has a built-in protection feature for over-current, under-current and over-voltage protection. It also has a power-good signal output which can be used to signal the voltage regulation of the output.
