NLSX4373DR2G is a multi-channel translator IC that converts between different logic levels, allowing signals from multiple logic families to share a common bus. The NLSX4373DR2G has two differential input channels and four differential output channels, which allow the circuit to operate by converting input signals from one logic family to the output signals of another logic family. The device uses an integrated opto-coupler with fast switching times to allow the circuit to switch between logic levels with low propagation delay. When an input is received, the opto-coupler compares the high level to the low level and then switches the output level. This process also isolates the two logic families from each other, preventing possible ground bounced or voltage drops.
