The NLSX5014DTR2G is a logic-level translator/level shifter with both directions allowing an easy and low-cost conversion of all logic levels. With both input and output, the NLSX5014DTR2G provides an effective transition between single-ended and differential signals. It is designed to extend the range of computer processor-level devices to peripherals.
The NLSX5014DTR2G is designed to operate in “1.5V operating voltage” mode and can accommodate both 2.5V and 3.3V logic. The device is suitable for both new and legacy designs, allowing adequate level shifting between 1.5V logic and more traditional logic levels. The input logic levels translate from low voltage Single-Ended logic levels to higher voltage Differential logic levels.
The device is configurable for either source or sink current as well as for single-ended and differential output. It can be configured to operate on either rising or falling edges of the clock signal, allowing flexibility in design. The NLSX5014DTR2G can also be configured to operate with an activation voltage of 2.5V or 3.3V and with output levels of up to 2.75V.
The NLSX5014DTR2G is easy to use, requiring only two connection points - VCC and GND for power and a single input clock signal for operation. The device can be configured for either source or sink current. When source current is required, the device can be connected to ground for direct connection to the signal source output. When sink current is required, the device can be connected to the signal source input for reliable operation.
The NLSX5014DTR2G is designed to operate over a wide range of temperatures, from -40C to +85C and it is ESD protected to provide reliable operation. The device also features a reset functionality, while its logic levels are guaranteed over a wide range of temperatures. The NLSX5014DTR2G also meets the requirements of NEC Class B, UL and VDE regulations.
