Working principle
PC28F128P33T85A is based on Pseudo-SRAM architecture, along with its highspeed read/write speed, it presents fast data read and write features, as one of the advantages of 60ns access time. Along with its internal asynchronous interface and 100Mhz data rate, data broadcast is achieved.
The Pseudo-SRAM architecture of PC28F128P33T85A is composed of two main sections: Controller and Flash. All data read and write interface between controller and flash is through the internal asynchronous interface. As for data write process, first it will store in SRAM, then the controller logic unit will write data into flash, finally the data in SRAM will be erased.
In data read procedure, after the logic unit send an instruction to the controller, not only will the controller and logic unit exchange data, at the meantime both of them will access the flash.
The way of communication between controller and flash is done through a address/data bus, when the controller written the data into flash, the logic unit and flash will not communicate, only the controller and flash will communicate.
