This PFC Controller’s features include a programmable input high voltage current limit, 90% efficiency, high frequency capacitive current-mode control, synchronous rectification, integrated lead –lag compensation, continuous output current monitor and thermal shutdown protection. All these features allow the PFS7527H to provide a high-performance, high-efficiency, compact, and low-cost solution for medium-power applications.The working principle of the PFS7527H is determined by controlling the input current adaptive to a sinusoidal waveform. The core PFC loop control circuit uses a variable reference current to perform far-ahead current control according to the input voltage and output voltage feedback, which improves the efficiency and reduces the noise. The current sense resistor on the primary side of the PFC performs an AC-to-DC conversion, so it senses the RMS input current of the system.Advantages of the PFS7527H
