The SP708SCU-L/TR is a precise two-channel supervisor IC, suitable for dual power system applications. It monitors the main power supply (VCC) and the auxiliary power supply (VAUX). It provides in-circuit protection against undervoltages, overvoltages and power-on reset (POR) events. The SP708SCU-L/TR is ideal for use in industrial, medical and automotive applications where precise power management is needed.

The SP708SCU-L/TR’s primary function is to provide precise monitoring of the main and auxiliary power supply voltages. It features an internally set high and low-voltage detection (UVLO) and an overvoltage monitor (OV) detect the voltage on both supplies. The SP708SCU-L/TR also features a power-on reset (POR) output, allowing for reliable power-on initialization of the system.

The SP708SCU-L/TR’s measurement accuracy is ±1.5%, with a resolution of 0.5mV. It also provides an open collector output, a PWM-compatibler reset output, and a power-on reset output. The device is also ESD and EFT protected, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.

Working Principle\The SP708SCU-L/TR works by monitoring the main and auxiliary power supply voltages and providing an output to indicate that these voltages are in the safe range. When the main and auxiliary power supply voltages are within the safe range, the SP708SCU-L/TR will provide an active low voltage output.
