Functionality
The STEVAL-ISA197V1 provides efficient power conversion in both DC/DC and AC/DC (Off-Line) applications. The device is capable of providing a maximum output current of up to 10A, output power of up to 100W and a wide range of voltage conversions.The device also features a wide range of advanced features such as embedded operating systems, user programming, adjustable voltage limits, overvoltage and overcurrent protection, high efficiency conversion, and selectable operating modes. Additionally, the board features a temperature sensor and an adjustable soft-start delay circuit.System
The STEVAL-ISA197V1 features an integrated buck converter system for efficient power conversion. The buck system is comprised of a power switch, transformer, and control circuitry. The power switch is used to transform the input voltage into an output voltage that is adjusted by the control circuitry. The control circuitry is made up of a reference chip, voltage control IC, overvoltage protection circuitry, and feedback control loop. The reference chip is used to generate an accurate reference voltage with minimal sensitivity to temperature and load fluctuations. The control loop is used to monitor the output voltage and adjust the power switch to ensure a stable output voltage.Applications
