It is designed to provide full control over the power supply\'s operating parameters using the current-mode feedback loop. It is specifically designed to perform the functions of an AC/DC converter, such as output regulation, input voltage monitoring, voltage regulation, fault protection and monitoring, and maximum power tracking.The TOP271KG is an integrated, single-package solution that integrates power, control and protection functions. It contains all of the necessary components - a power stage, voltage regulator, current-mode control, and overvoltage, overcurrent, and over-temperature protection - required to produce an efficient and robust power supply. The device is optimized for use in low-voltage switching applications and is available in 3 versions with different switching frequencies and output current ratings.The TOP271KG features a current-mode feedback regulation scheme that provides improved dynamic performance, wide input-voltage range, and fast transient response. This type of regulation also helps to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) and ripple. The current-mode control also enables the use of small inductors and capacitors, allowing for small, cost-efficient solutions.The TOP271KG has an integrated high-performance voltage regulator with auto-adjusting precision voltage reference. This feature ensures that the output voltage is maintained at its desired level, even if the input voltage changes.
