The Working Principle of TPS23523EVM-863
The TPS23523EVM-863 Evaluation Board contains two devices that are essential in understanding the working principle of the kit: the TPS23523, and the TPS23530. The TPS23523 is a 3-phase current sense amplifier, and the TPS23530 is a 3-phase high-side current sensing circuit.
The TPS23523 is used to detect the differential current between two points, which is then used to set the output voltage of the TPS23530. The output voltage of the TPS23530 is then used to measure the whole current in the 3-phase circuit. This output is used to drive an indicator LED or some other indicator like a display.The TPS23523 has 16 pins: 8 differential inputs, one ground, 4 supply voltage pins, one gain select pin, one common mode index pin, one output enable pin, and one output pin. The TPS23530 has 8 pins: ground, three supply voltage pins, one gain select pin, one output enable pin, one input pin, and one output pin. The TPS23523 amplifies the differential currents that flow via the two +X and -X lines and one +Y and -Y lines, and generates an output voltage proportional to the magnitude of the differential current.
