It is designed to meets the need of high currents under low profile with an output power of up to 1800W, an operating temperature ranging from -40℃ to +80℃ and wide input voltage from 175V to 550V with an internal operating frequency range from 80KHZ to 300KHZ. This is a great power switch for a variety of applications ranging from consumer electronics, medical devices, test and measurement, to industrial products.The working principle of UCC2813D-2G4 is consists of a Voltage Mode PWM control topology and frequency multi-modulation control system. Firstly, the Hall-effect current sensor provides signals to the voltage-mode PWM modulator and the internal PFC MCU controller. Through these data, the PFO controller can track the power needed to maintain the consistent output voltage regardless of current and line input variation. After that, the PFO converts the AC voltage into DC voltage. The MCU then checks the DC output voltage and adjusts the PWM comparator outputs with reference signals to adjust the voltage through controlling the voltage mode PWM signal. When the DC output voltage is required, the controller will turn on the power switches and the driver will turn off the power switches when it is not required.Moreover, it also equipped with Over-Voltage Protection, Over Current Protection, Under-Voltage Protection, and Thermal Shut-off. The device is suitable for applications that requires isolated Flyback and isolated Forward Converter. It also has many pin functions such as Gate Drive Frequency Adjustment, Soft-Start Pin, RST Pin, TEST Pin, SYNC Pin and FB Pin.UCC2813D-2G4 can be easily of integrated into the power supply design process because it is fully compatible with standard industrial control signal standards. The device also supports S7A2 to S3A3 signal line control signal, providing fault indication and intelligent power control of DC output. The output of UCC2813D-2G4 is flexible and can easily reproduce the effect of various control signals. UCC2813D-2G4 shows great achievement in providing beat-efficiency, low power loss and low profile.In conclusion, UCC2813D-2G4 is a great power switch option for today’s power supply design market.
