Aluminum electrolytic capacitors refer to capacitors with liquid as electrolyte. Generally, it is an aluminum foil wound film capacitor of polyester or polypropylene film, with aluminum foil as anode, and aluminum oxide film as dielectric. The negative electrode is a metal rod with a very small resistance compared with the working current. Application Field of UVK2A330MPD

UVK2A330MPD are used in consumer electronics, automotive electrical systems, air conditioners, electric control equipment and other fields. The extended temperature range up to -40°C to +105°C makes the capacitor suitable for a wide range of applications. The product also features low levels of equivalent series resistance (ESR) andeffective capacitance (EFC) retention at higher temperatures, low-temperature characteristics retention, excellent surge performance and long life performance.

Working Principle of UVK2A330MPD

An aluminum electrolytic capacitor consists of two aluminum foils, each of which is coated with an oxide film a few nanometers thick. These two aluminum foils are rolled into a cylinder, for which one of the aluminum foils is wound outside while the other is wound inside and then immersed in an electrolyte, forming a capacitor. The outer aluminum foil is called an anode with its oxide layer as adielectric, while the inner aluminum foil is called a cathode. If a DC voltage is applied between the two terminals, a reversible oxide film will be formed through electron transduction. This process enables the accumulation of electrons, thus enabling the oxide film to form a capacitor, capable to accumulate charge. The charge accumulation within the capacitor causes a change in capacitance with time, which is called self-discharge.

The UVK2A330MPD also has other features that make it a great choice for use in consumer electronics, automobiles, and other systems. The capacitors have an insulated bottom for high voltage proof as well as a feedback system to monitor the quality of the capacitor for longer life and increased reliability.
