Working Principle

When the voltage is lower than the lower fixed threshold, the power source is in the OFF state.The two user-programmable thresholds are referred to as the thresholds of power-up and power-down and they can be programmed using the external resistors. During power up, the voltage is monitored and when it is greater than the power-up threshold, the supervisor is considered in the ON state. During power down, the voltage must stay below the power-down threshold before the supervisor is considered in the OFF state.
