1N4003-N-0-4-AP is the designation for a type of diode that is used to rectify AC power (alternating current) into direct current. These rectifiers are also known as Single phase rectifiers, or simply, rectifiers. This type of diode is typically used in mains AC applications such as computers, power supplies and motor control circuits. The 1N4003-N-0-4-AP rectifiers are available in various packages, the most common being a DO-41 (D-Pack) package.
