The 25LC080/SN is a non-volatile memory device, which is used for a variety of sophisticated tasks. This memory device is commonly used in systems such as medical electronics, industrial equipment, automotive or automotive-related systems that require high endurance and reliability. The 25LC080/SN is a serial EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory) with 256Kbits of capacity. In order to access the memory array, the I/Opin is used in the Write and Read operations. The address pins are used in order to select the desired word in the memory array. The device also offers additional features such as self-timed programming, hardware configuration bits, and write inhibit functions.
